A quick update to my life. I have started a consulting company S2N Health with a friend and co-worker from my Aspect days, Amy Siegel. It has been a fun ride so far as we build up a client base and figure out / refine our business model.

This gig has also provided a great learning experience for myself. All our clients are MedTech startups, ranging in stage from seed – close to product launch. Because they are small, I get to interact and watch the CEOs guide each of their respective companies. Learning from the different styles and attitudes of these leaders has really been helpful in forming my own thoughts on leadership.

I have also had a chance to peer under the hood of a bunch of different startups in a short period of time. Since all companies have their warts, it has been exciting to see how they handle the deficiencies. Hopefully this experience will imprint some successful patterns in my head, so if I ever face these problems, I can match the problem to the solution.
